I orderd this shoe for my husband, he runs 2-5 miles a day and was looking for a light weight, comfortable running shoe. He has had it for a few weeks now and really likes it. Good looking shoe and very light weight. Shipping was on time and arrived in excellent condition.

So, I didn't buy these on Amazon. I bought them at my local running store. It's not often that I log on to review a product I didn't buy here. This time? This time I have to share.I am a runner who has struggled with picking the right shoe, staying injury free, and running pain-free. I over-pronate, and previous to these shoes, I would have sworn I was a solid heel-striker. That tends to put me on the spectrum of motion-control for shoes. Previous to this I have run in Nike Equalon 3s and the Nike Zoom Structure Triax. After a particularly serious injury that had kept me out from running and in Physical Therapy for months, I was looking for a new shoe to start back up running. My PT had three qualities she wanted to look for in a shoe: Lightweight, cushioned heel, but with some support for the over-pronation/super flexible ankles. I took these to my running store and they directed me towards the Cortana, which had just come out.I tried the shoe on, and I am a believer. In contrast to a traditional running shoe which normally has a 12mm height difference between the heel and forefoot, the Cortana has a 4mm height difference. This, for me, leads to less heel striking, better form, and less pain/discomfort, even when I am pushing myself on a run. There was a period of breaking-in, where I needed to be particularly careful about stretching my calves because of the increased flex while running. I am two months into these shoes, with multiple runs per week, and I love, love, love them.…

This is my fourth pair of Sauconys, as they were recommended by my doctor. I had my first pair until recently. They had been demoted to lawn mowing shoes, as the cushioning was gone (as will happen to any running shoe, with the pounding that they take.) I eventually threw them out as they became, well, disgusting, but to the end, the heel cup was as firm as the day of purchase. I have noticed that in each successive pair that I've owned, the heel cups lose their shape more quickly. Even better (he says with some sarcasm) I have only worn my curent pair 15-20 times, and I can see my sock through the toe of the right shoe. A little quicker (a lot quicker) than my previous pairs. I have contacted customer service, but the store at which I purchased them has given my little hope.."tha usually happens within three months"..at this price...really?As I said, my fourth pair, and sadly, probably my last....comfort that doesn't hold up.

I am a runner who has had multiple knee surgeries. I am also a mid foot striker, so I was looking for a shoe that had more mid foot cushioning but had more heel cushioning than a minimalist shoe. The cortana has more than fulfilled my requests. I love this shoe!

After purchasing the saucony women powergrid and only wearing them a few time not even running trying to break them in they have ripped and worn already. I have purchased many running shoes from saucony and I think I paid the most for these and they are the worst quality. I am going back to my proride 3 that they made in the previous years.

I like these so much, I ordered extra pairs before leaving this review. I've had foot issues over the past year, and had to wear orthotics with arch support. I weaned myself off orthotics several months ago, but was still having plenty of discomfort. I switched to these a month ago, and they are really making my life better. I use them for walking (not running), and I find my feet are doing much better than they did in New Balance or Saucony waking shoes.

Most comfortable. Sometimes I forget I have shoes on. The upper mesh on the shoe is great. It allows air in and out so my feet can breathe. Would buy these again from Amazon. Yes! Yes! Yes!

Saucony Men's Powergrid Cortana Running Shoe,Royal/White/Citron,11.5 M US

This shoe effortlessly blends a minimal design and superior cushioning. The low heel/toe drop combined with the new powergrid really is innovative. The shoe feels like you get a tremendous energy return as well. It promotes a forefoot strike but forgives the heel striker looking to transition to the mid or forefoot.I can't really comment on the durability except to say that the outsole appears more robust than the kinvara or mirage, so you might get more miles out of these.Overall, a brilliant novel approach to melding minimalism with cushioning.

I have been buying Saucony running shoes for many years. These are my favorites shoes ever! I hope they never change these because they are perfect. They are super light weight but offer great support with adequate cushioning. They fit like a glove, it feels like there's nothing on your feet. I don't think I could go back to a heavier shoe. I run about 15 miles a week and these are truly a joy to run in. I've had them about a month now and refuse to wear anything else.
